RX18 Full Function Firing Mod

This mod in no way will damage the RX 18 MFU it's funtion is to alow IR fire without a triger installed on the gun and will alow high tension flash to work without the mico switch here is how it is done for the faint of heart when it comes to soldering on the main board it can be done without opening the case we will start with the open case mod first and then I will show you how to do it out of case You will need a soldering pencil and srink tube and a small rectifier diode for this Mod as pictured here

first gently push back the tabs holding the case halves together and expose the main board

now that the case is open carfuly remove the main board and flip it over

the YELLOW lines marked A and B are the locations where you will solder the diode into place

take the diode that you will be using and put shrink wrop on the exposed leads leaving only a very small potion of the lead showing and aply a small amount od solder to the exposed tips this will make it much easer to solder it to the board

be sure that when you solder the diode into place the silver band is facing the pin 4 of the 8 pin conecter as in this pic

then conect the other end of the diode to the pin 4 of 5pin conector B reinstall the main board into its case and your done you have now made the board full funtion without the etra wiring into the turret for full fire and sound from the left joystick up motion it wire fire cannon sound flash the high tension flasher if equiped and fire the IR without pressing the K button on the remote conrol when you are using the airsoftgun without this mod you need to install a micro switch to firew the ir and main gun at the same time for those who do not want to open the case this can also be done externaly using a diode and old 2 pin plug using the old 2 pin plug remove the locking tabs from the plug the using the wire in the pin one position as pictured here

solder the diode to the wire orange in the picture be sure to use shrink wrap silver band facing away from the plug and add a short piece of wire as seen here in blue and srink wrap the connection as well the plug the connector into the board as seen in this pic

then conect the piece of wire that is blue in the picture to the yellow wire at pin 4 on the 8 pin connector and your done and you will have the same results as above without opening the case
